Tom Scratch Ike and Choco on the Wood Griz and Kody doing their thing... My Kody dog...... Ike and my pup, Rui Li locked on tight I better give my black plott dog Maverik credit for trail to tree on the lion as well........ lion in tree..... I'm sure glad to see that snow leaving guys and gals, cause ole Ike was getting tired of that stuff. The hounds and I have stayed home and just done some roading for about a month because of deep snow and lack of desire. However, the past three weekends we've gotten out and limbered up our legs. The tom in this photo beat the hounds and me last weekend, as he was just too far ahead of us and I pulled the dogs around 3:00 PM. They made a gallant effort but after eight or nine hours on track my age started showing, so I quit. However, I did a little better yesterday and stayed in the hunt to the tree. I will say, however, that I probably left way too much boot leather on the mountain.... Good luck to all in the coming bear season! Ike

Been laying low I guess Bluedogman? I changed browsers on my desktop computer and lost this address, then found it on my laptop. Not much has changed with me, been running down a few lions and bear season is going again now. I haven't been after any bears as yet, but have a few to kill if we catch anything worth killing.
Keep'em Treed, Ike
P.S. Oh yeah, I drew a limited entry elk tag for one of the best units in Utah for this fall after twenty-five or so years. A guy should kill a really nice bull on that unit...........
