Here are a couple off Ken's flash drive from last weekend. Nothing this weekend, really hot, dry and dusty. Dogs couldn't keep the track. Up at the butt crack of dawn Radar on our box Was a small one, but this kid was happy with his first bear! My babies tied back Radar and Sissy Annie

Cool photos Houndmomma, thanks for sharing. Bear is closed here and I guess a guy will have to go lion hunting for the next month if he wants the dogs out.........

Thanks Bear and Ike. A guy here in CA got permission to hunt a Mt lion that has been harrassing his stock. Ken is supposed to take some dogs over there in the next few weeks. Will make sure ;he doesn't forget his camera!! He forgot last weekend, but it was so dry and dusty they didnt' get anything. Supposed to be raining this weekend!

That sounds fun for him Houndmomma, and I hope he gets a good run at that cat and gets some photos...........
Bear is closed here and I got a call on a problem bear from the DWR yesterday. They wanted the bear killed and wondered if I had a client or friend with a tag over there. I told them no, but if the hunter they chose didn't have hounds to call me.
My job went to 4-10s and so I'll be loading hounds most Fridays now that my elk hunt is over. As you know, lion season is open year round in most of the units around my house so ol' Ike will be out riggin and cutting for a tom track........
keep'em treed, ike
