Ask and you shall receive! ;D It's a Timber Rattler! We saw this bad boy crossing the road near one of my huntin' spots! No, we didn't harm him -- let him go his merry way! Mari was 'manning' the camera as she usually is when We 'ride'. She started out shooting from the rear but 'Sucked it up' and got in front of him! "Papa Seal' speaking here! I told her not to get closer than about ten feet and she minded me good! Ten rattles and a button by MY count! Would make a nice belt or hat band! She really was not this close. The lens she was shooting with at the time will not focus closer than ten feet! She IS just a GIRL after all! "Papa" was not far away!

lookin at that thing is kinda creepy,i wonder how old he is? Several years! Some say a rattle a year..but i think they can shed more than one time in a year sometimes making them have more rattles than years.

We want a pic of a Diamondback. I have seen them here but not in many many years. We might have to go to S Georgia to a snake round-up to get some.
