Muggy 72 here this morning. Spose to get some more cool weather next week I think. Cant wait. Guess what? Our Hummingbirds have gone and it hasn't even been really cold. Guess the cold is not the reason they leave after all.

good morning!!! It is 65 here right now, but supposed to heat up to 83. I have lots of cleaning to do today. The kitchen floor, still need to clean the roticery(?) and figure out why my dish washer isn't cleaning right. Then I have mounds of laundry to do. Wanna work more on the kids room. I need to get them moved into their. Joleen kept me up most of the night so we may go back to bed for an hour or two once I get Sarah off to school. Still minimum days this week. I have had Jacob all week and do again today. He and Sarah have been best friends since kindergarden and they get along for the most part, but start having them together for long periods and they start to bicker like an old married couple!!!! (or like brother nd sister!!)
Gal, can't wait to see the pictures!! Johnny, sorry you lost your humming birds!!

Also, we released a Monarch butterfly this morning. Have a couple more pupas in the cages we HOPE will hatch out, We have been lax and not kept you up to date on that this year. We are STILL into raising monarchs! Released several earlier in the year and this one makes two this fall. Had a lot a caterpillars on the butterfly folwers that we didn't cover with cages. We don't know what became of those.
