Happy Sunday! We are up and stirrin! Gonna get a little breakfast and then figure out our plan for the day in good ole Georgia. I know the leaves, views and all of North Carolina are not going to be topped in Georgia but we are going see what we can see. Already have several hundred pictures on the cameras but we are far from using up the space on the cards. Batteries are holding up but we have spares just in case. We got pictures of several flocks of wild turkeys along the parkway. Got some of enclosed animals at Grand Father Mountain but the weather was not good yesterday and pictures may not be so good. Lots of pics along the roads taken from the vehicle and thru the windshield. Hopefully we can salvage a few good ones from the lot. We'll get more today. Hope the weather is better. Y'all have a good one!

It rained all night last night and it's still raining! I love it!! It means that I can't do any work outside -- yipee! I'm averaging grades for art history class to assuage their fears -- if students worried about what they learn as much as they worry about their grades, they'd be much better students. Have papers to grade, and maybe make some cookies today. Don't know yet -- I'm waiting on second cup of coffee... : ) Y'all have a good one. : )

Howdy all. It stayed clear and warm last night. The kids were almost too hot in their costumes, it was three layers of felt, long sleeve t=shirts and long pants. Sarah's feet were pruney in my boots!! Beautiful 75 here today at noon. Dannie just came and took the kids to the coast 5 hours away today. Im doing much better than expected. Sarah is taking it harder than I expected too. She has been crying off and on for the past hour. Sent some more of my clothes cuz I wanted to make srue the kids are taken are of. I sure am gonna miss those cute little babies!! She is supposed to be back on the 20th and I am hoping she has had enough. I pray for wet weather at the coast! They are in a 20 foot 5th wheel with 4 adults and those two babies!! If they are cooped up in there for three weeks, she will be more than ready to bring them home! The thing that kills me most is that they all 4 smoke in the trailer with the kids!! She did take them to get their flu shots (N1H1 is very prevalent on Eureka!)
