Morning all!! It is 22 here this morning!! Got up and graded papers for Sarah's math class (we have to do 40 volunteer hours per year, 20 more if the kids are in the musical, and of course Sarah got a part!!) so this is part of my volunteer hours. Sarah is moving slow, so what else is new!! She is in the Redding City Ballet's Nutcracker (an Angel) and has dress rehersal from 4-10 tonight. Hopefully I can drop her off and George will go and sit at the theater! There is no way I can keep these babies out there with it that cold!! Supposed to get almost as cold tonight and then start warming back up to over freezing!

Miss Mari gave me a new coffee cup the other day. I'm going to use IT just till Christmas! On one side it says "To: Santa North Pole" other side says "Dear Santa, It really wasn't my fault...X "

We had freezing rain last night and school closed at 5pm; traffic was awful. Stopped at Kroger's on the way home -- so did everyone else in Augusta County -- what a mess. I was glad to get home till I discovered the back corner of the house sprung a leak, then remembered my little wet / dry vac works better than a mop -- it saved energy and emotional chaos. So I spent the evening sucking water, filling in my grade book, and watching M*A*S*H* re-runs. I feel for ya' Gal. And BJ, yesterday I spent part of the afternoon breaking up ice that the scraper missed. Not easy work... Today is still sucking water -- the snow melts; joint compound work, and grading papers. Class count-down = 3 classes / 2 days. later... : )
