I finished priming the long wall, watched "Lucky # Slevin", and went to bed. Up early this morning, and outside with the dogs to walk the fence line -- cleared debris, and tightened the bottom and middle lines. When Sam was here, we replaced 19 insulators from snow damage. This morning I found 2 more broken by the creek close to where I feed the deer. They get a large Ovaltine container of corn once a day divided by 2 stations -- one up on the hill behind the house, and one down by the creek. I've yet to see them. They must get up earlier than me. Anyone know what time deer bed down? Now it's time to mop the floor and move furniture back. Best Wishes and Blessings for the New Year Y'all

Wishing each and everyone of you a happy new year!!!
Sandra, Deer are typically up all night and bed down around as soon as it starts to get warm. During the winter, they usually don't bed down much because their activity keeps them warm. They must be hitting your feeders during the night.
Ken and I watched tv and send the kids to bed. Sarah got up right at midnight to ring in the new year. I guess someone shot off fireworks and woke her up. Went to bed shortly after midnight.

You are welcome Sandra. I only know cuz of hunting. We were only allowed to hunt deer from first light till they bed down and then again from when it got cool and they got back up till dusk. They don't allow you to hunt at night.
