whitedog,
Sounds like the hounds did get a little exercise, and that's always good. So how's the bobcat season going?
I went out one day this weekend and started a nice tom bobcat around 9:30 in the morning. There was probably an inch of snow on the flats and north sides where I hunted and the south slopes were bare.
The four dogs I hunted did a good job trailing the cat until about 1:00 PM or so then quit the track--the scent must have burned off.
We did cut the hounds off and were standing at the head of a rocky drainage on the cat track and watched the hounds pound their way past us. I was beginning to think they were going to get him stopped...oh well!
Not much going on here, just work and a little play.
Keep'em treed, the ikester
