they had about a foot of hard pak and they got about 1/4-1/2 inch of new stuff the night before.jack was there and also a guy that knows you.cant remeber his name but he drove a dark red chevy etended cab.there were some dogs there with mike fairchilds collars on them but dont think it was him,he must have been runing them for him.he told me he was from pickford, and that you had called him to go the weekend i came up.as for the game, didnt get to see many crossings but they ran good the entire time so there was alot or they stuck to one like glue.Darrell

If you ever need company let me know, don't have much for a pen dog as they're all too old, but I can BS with the best of them. If you ever want to go to the Imlay City pen that is alot closer, and a nice pen, not as big as Jack's but a real nice pen. Female yotes here are real heavy with pups so probaly won,t run on the outside for a while, Gotta let them have those pups for the trappers next fall (that should get a responce from WhiteDog ;D)

how far away you think that imlay pen is from me here b.b. how big is it and how is it layed out.i really like jacks pen just not alot of spots to see crossing since its thick and so big but its still a great pen for the dogs.but yes we should hook up some time and go,i plan on running them at least 1-2 times a month just to keep them in shape and keep scent in there noses to see if that helps them out for next year.

Looking at the map and maybe it's not closer to you as you would have to come south a ways, would be about 250 miles for you, it is about half pines and half hard woods, lot of places to see the game cross, cuts through the pines and some nice openings in the hard woods. I think it is around 80 acres.

ok,maybe sometime this summer i could come down and run there with you.it would be nice to have everybody that has coyote dogs to get together some saturday at jacks pen so everybody could meet and let there dogs run, kinda like vargys bbq but a local one.i think that would be fun and jacks pen is easily big enough to hold it
