The Illinois Federation of Hunting Dogs (IFHD) proposed wildlife code wording change (Senate Bill SB2334) has been signed into law. It will take effect 1/1/2007. Public Act 094-0764
This will protect the hunters who are hunting on ground they have permission to hunt and the dog (on there own) crosses onto someone they do not have permission from getting a trespassing ticket. A great victory for IFHD. Please take time to thank all the Legislators who sponsored the bill and supported it. IFHD would also like to thank all the hunters and organizations who called their legislators and asked for them to support the bill. It shows that when all work together we can achieve our goals. Protect your rights to hunt and enjoy outdoor activities. Thanks again! IFHD
