Before I got all over the place on this great site I was invited to, I figured I would start my own thread.
We have some very unique dogs that are 50% Dogo Canario, 25% Belgian Malinois and 25% Donavan Pinscher that we are hoping to make some great kill dogs and hopefully can breed in enough legs and lung to make the long haul required for running yotes. We are anxious after many weeks of conditioning our dogs to run them with some experienced dogs on some coyote to see how they hold up. Our goal is to build a pack of dogs with great versatility including some dogs built to run/track and some dogs built to catch/kill. These 4 dogs are from the same litter but all posess different physical attributes and stregnths. Maybe we are completely wrong here but it seems that these dogs will be excellent kill dogs, we look forward to ANY AND ALL opinions regarding this.
After just a couple days on another message board, we have considered introducing irish wolfhoud, running walker, redbone and possibly greyhound. This is all just in the "what if" stage right now but would love to hear some input on this subject as well.
We are just newbies to this whole sport but not new to dogs or hunting. We really look forward to making some contacts and doing some learning with our time spent here. Anybody that would like to see our dogs in person is more then welcome to send us a personal message or they can be seen by clicking on the link below to our website.
;D Thank you to everybody that has extended a warm welcome to us .

Wanna come to California and take care of some for us??? We fell asleep last night to the sound of coyotes!! Dannie and I walked down to the end of our street cuz it sounded like a small dog yelping. We knew sammie was in the house, but there are several other small dogs in the neighborhood. A guy across the street that wasn't home has a poodle. Shined the light down the canyon(south end of the street) and saw at least three sets of eyes and couldn't hear the dog anymore so we came back. I swear, sounded like an Indian war cry or something for a little while, then they moved around to the block by Henry Moor Lane. The star is us, there are two more houses tot he South between us and the canyon. On Henry behind us the first house is directly behind us and then there is one on the other side of Henry also. There is a coyote den right beind the lady to the South of us. Lake Blvd (the two blue lines in the top right) is the main road and then there is another pretty busy road that is a little ways past the lower right corner. To the North is a pretty busy one also and all three connect to form a really big triangle. All the brown is still green belt and canyon where all the coyotes are. There are a few coons down there, but not many. The fear running the dogs down there are the three main roads. It is a few miles, but you all know that a few miles is not enough for coon doogs!

coyotek9 she sure is a long ways to kill yote isnt she lol, hey i see your are from just a few hours south of me, hey if you want feel free to post pictures of your dogs here, ive seen the dogo befor, mainly seen them use to catch hogs, hey as far as running catch/kill dogs in the pen I dont think that would go over very good, the yotes cost a pretty pennie to stock the pens, there is a pen over by leota not far from you, I hear they only have one yote there and he isnt any good, maybe talk to them and see if you can get rid of him, the right running walkers will catch and kill yotes in style there is a pack of them close to you that get it done right, the guy that owns them comes in here some, comes in by the name of willettj, if you have any question feel free to ask and post the pictures of your dogs, have a great day...

you have to post it on a picture service web site like photobuckets or hunt 101 or there are quite a few of them, you just resize download them there and then after they have downloaded just right click and copy the url or the img either will work go back to this site and on your thread or reply, and just right click and paste and it should be there. photobucket.com/
