Went out this morning to a sugar cane field were a huge boar hog had been spotted two nights straight. Took the the dogs out there and had no luck. We moved on to well wooded area where we saw some pretty fresh tracks. We had Milo, Cabeza, Thunder, Digger ,Pete and Fancy on the ground. We also had some young dogs as well. Mala was on lead just in case. I told Vern that we wouldn't need her really Digger will catch just as hard. Cabeza and Milo broke in one direction and it was looking good. Not even 2 minutes later Cabeza let off the first bark and then Milo. It was small and caught right away. IT was a nice lil boar hog. I'd say roughly about 80lbs. All in all it was alright and most importantly the young dogs get the exposure. Tico

Yeah we'll barr him and release him....the pups got the training in the woods. I like to let a pup or two tag along witht the older dogs when we're hunting. These pups were over a year old though so it was alright to take them both. If their younger than that I usually will only take one. They'll start playing with each other when there's more than one. NOT a good thing they'll be more into playing with each other and less interested in following the other dogs. Tico
